Awesome service and the saleperson took his time in explaining features of the cars I was interested in. Within 2-hours I owned a preowned car with very low mileage at a reasonably low price. I highly recommend getting a car from Kamaaina Nissan.

I've generally been pretty satisfied with them after taking my car in for regular service there. It does take a while to get some services which seem like they should take so long, such as an oil change and tire rotation. But nothing really moves fast in Hilo and it's never been a problem to get a ride while I wait. They've never tried to upsell me when I go in and tell them exactly what I want. At times they've found ways to do the same work but code it differently so it's less expensive. Where I used to live, all the oil change places would tell you every fluid needed to be changed every visit. I've never gotten that from them even when I suggested changing one of the fluids since the maintenance manual mentioned it. I was told they could do it but there was really no need. Another time my battery died under warranty, but for the age of the battery, only 25% of the cost would be covered. They were honest and said I could get another battery elsewhere for much cheaper. Things like that go a long way and are appreciated.
